Cornucopia

Cornucopia a staple of autumn often around Thanksgiving. #cornucopia

This autumn decoration is a staple around Thanksgiving that is derived from two Latin words, cornu (meaning horn) and copia (meaning abundance), so a literal translation is, “horn of plenty.” which dates back to in Greek and Roman mythology.

The cornucopia is known to date from the birth of Zeus who was fed using a horn or even Hercules (who ripped off the horn of the Greek god Achelous). Even known to be associated with Hades, who rules the underworld. Plus other deities.

Note birth of Zeus! That shows Zeus was created not always been in existence. Note the lower case g, as well, as false gods use the lower case. Our Heavenly Father uses the upper case G, God. Plus, we all know there is no ruler in hell, Satan will be there in torment, just like those not born again.

The horn is usually filled with plenty of the autumn harvest vegetation, flowers or even nuts.

Traditionally, a cornucopia was usually filled with the autumn harvest, plants and flowers, to show off that season’s autumnal bounty.

Not only does the cornucopia symbolize abundance, it can symbolize fertility and prosperity.

Does this fall staple mean anything to you?
